My wife and I first time eating at Chubbys no regrets whatsoever! very friendly especially patient with their customers. we live in Crystal Lake it's a must to return. it's worth the trip for great food and the friendly workers. keep up the great job and Happy New Year!!
Nothing like fresh hot gyros after a long day of cycling! Very filling and delicious I went for the classic. Can't find anything like it in the area. Very nice staff makes me want to return. Can't wait to try the chicken . Located in the front of the parking lot on the main road so its easy to spot.
It's always a pleasure to eat at Chubby's. The food is consistently excellent, with their dinners providing more than one complete meal for a reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and happy to help, making sure you get anything you need, wether dining in or using the drive through. The store is always clean and fully stocked.
My husband and I stopped here on whim towards our way home. We needed a quick me up snack. We shared a cheese fry and got 2 drinks. Let say they did not disappoint! Fries were delicious Crispy, but soft and crunchy, drenched with delicious cheese sauce. Best cheese fries we've had in a long time! Pepsi was crisp as well you know it will be a great drink in those clear plastic cups. We look forward to returning back in the future. Only have a picture of my drink because the fries were gone before we knew it Friendly service and the atmosphere was welcoming. I will be dreaming about those cheese fries
I really like this place. From the parking lot you can smell how delicious their food is. A little pricey but not outta the normal. I always have enough for the next day or share with the hubby. Things I love gyro, Greek salad, sweet potatoes fries ( technically all of their fries fresh cut, curly fries ) Philly cheese steak, wings . . . the list goes on.

I'm from the south side of Chicago so when I'm up here towards lake in the hills Illinois at my girlfriend's house I REALLY have to search for good food. Let me start by saying this is now my "GO TO" Spot! The portions are huge, the prices are fair, the food is DELICIOUS! The people at the restaurant are really nice and you can tell they care about their customers Gyros...hot dogs... Amazing list of food I recommend this place
I don't often write reviews... But the chicken dinner was so good I had to. As a Greek I have high expectations and this was legit. It was pieces of juicy grilled chicken with a ton of flavor and the potatoes and rice were so delicious. The side salad was a nice pairing. Even the cost was very reasonable at around 15. Will definitely be back for that.
